Halden A. Martin, 64 years old of Roanoke, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Halden was born on October 18, 1951 in Bluffton, Indiana the son of the late Rev. Sylvester C. Martin and Marcile (Christener) Martin (she survives). He married Deb Zerkel on March 23, 1974 in Decatur, Indiana and she survives.
Halden attended College Park Church in Huntington, Indiana.
Halden had retired as an insurance agent in 2014.
Surviving are his wife, Deb Martin of Roanoke, IN; daughter, Alyson (Jonathan) Wolf of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter, Arin (Chris) Durbin of Lexington, OH; daughter, Jessah (Jeremy) Porter of Whitehouse, OH; mother, Marcile Martin of Decatur, IN; brother, Lowell (Judy) Martin of Decatur, IN; and 6 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the College Park Church 1945 College Ave. Huntington, IN with Pastor Gary Dilley officiating.
Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Adams Woodcrest Chapel 1300 Mercer Ave. Decatur, IN and from 2 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the church in Huntington, IN.
Preferred memorials are to Huntington University.
