Mary D. Hartsock, 68 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Chalet Village located in Berne, Indiana following a lengthy illness, but her death was unexpected.

Mary was born on Monday, May 19, 1947 in Celina, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph Wappelhorst and the late Frieda (Smith) Wappelhorst. She was united in marriage to Bobby Hartsock 28 years ago and he survives.

Mary was a member of the New Hope Church in Decatur.
Mary was employed by Adams Health Network and worked at Adams - Woodcrest for 9 years.

Surviving are her husband, Bobby Hartsock of Decatur, IN; son, Craig Allen (Stacy) Jones of Decatur, IN; son, Gregg Allen (Tina) Jones of Decatur, IN; step-son, Charles (Melissa) Jones of Decatur, IN; daughter, Michelle Neese of Bluffton, IN; brother, Richard (Sharon) Wappelhorst of Steele, AL; brother, Ralph (Betty) Wappelhorst of Waverly, OH; brother, John Wappelhorst of Spencerville, OH; brother, Lawrence Wappelhorst, of Ohio; brother, Robert Wappelhorst of California; brother, Gerald (Toni) Wappelhorst of Hicksville, OH; sister, Donna (Rex) Wappelhorst - Hawkins of Lima, OH; sister, Cheryl (Jerry) Stevens of Decatur, IN; 4 grandchildren: Savannah Jones; Michael Jones; Francis Jones; Alex Jones.

Preceding Mary in death were 2 daughters: Melissa Jones & Debbie Wappelhorst; 1 step-son: Scotty Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the New Hope Church with Pastor Alfred Templeton and Pastor Kevin August officiating.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
