Bradley A. Swander

Bradley A. Swander, 49 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on Thursday, February 2, 1967 in Huntington, Indiana the son of Carl and Nila (Vining) Swander. He married Nichole L. Berry on December 5, 1992 in Decatur, Indiana.

Brad was a member of Praise Point in Willshire, Ohio. He loved fishing, golfing, and watching IU basketball. Brad loved his dog, Hoosier and loved to go on vacation and spend time with his family.

He was employed at CAPT in Celina, Ohio for ten years and prior to that he had worked at the Fort Wayne Foundry for 20 years.

Surviving are his wife, Nikki Swander of Willshire; three daughters, Amber, Madison, and Grace Swander, all of Willshire; parents, Carl & Nila Swander of Rockford; sister, Rochelle (Lowell)Kissinger of Bradford, OH; in-laws, Jack & Cindy Berry of Willshire; brother-in-law, Chuck (Michelle) Berry of Van Wert; brother-in-law, Brad (Jodi) Berry of Willshire; and eight nieces & nephews.

Preceding Bradley in death were a brother, Derrick "Chip" Swander; maternal grandparents, James & Sally Vining;  and paternal grandparents,  Raymond & Wilma Swander.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Praise Point in Willshire , Ohio with Pastor Brad Kittle and Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 1 at Praise Point in Willshire and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Camp COTUBIC or IU Methodist Critical Care Family Fund.
