Mary Jo (Butler) King, 88 years old, of Sun Lakes AZ, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
She was born on Tuesday, April 17, 1928, in Decatur, Indiana, the daughter of the late Clyde E. Butler and M. Helen (Wells) Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband, James King, originally of Decatur, Indiana; son, T. Randall Kaehr; and infant brother, Wayman Butler.
She was previously married to the late Joseph G. Kaehr of Decatur, Indiana, father of her five children, and the late John L. Mellinger of Nappanee, Indiana.
Mary Jo was a 1946 graduate of Decatur High School. She was a mother, homemaker, and member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Surviving are her sons Timothy A. Kaehr (Robin) of Scottsdale, AZ; Anthony G. Kaehr (Deborah) of Cincinnati, OH; Eric D. Kaehr (Wanda) of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Lissa Reedy (Tom) of Hinsdale, IL and daughter-in-law Lynda Kaehr of Wheaton, IL.
She is also survived by grandchildren Chad, Marissa, Ashley, Taryn, Andrew, Bobby, Brandon, Laura, Patrick, Katrina, Caitlin, Emma, and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date in Decatur, Indiana.
