Norman L. "Norm" Logan, 83 years old of Decatur, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur.
He was born on Thursday, August 3, 1933 in Jay County. He is the son of the late Glenn Logan and the late Josephine (Thomas) Logan. He was united in marriage with Diane Houser on October 19, 1957 at the Macklin Methodist Church.
Norm was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his county in the United States Army.
He was a graduate of Bryant High School Class of 1951, and was a member of the Decatur Church of God.
Norm retired from Central Soya in 1996 after 45 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Logan of Decatur, IN; son, Brad (Kelly) Logan of Decatur, IN; son, Greg (Gina) Logan of Decatur, IN; sister, Janet Echemendia of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Neil Logan of New Orleans, LA; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Norman in death is his grandson- in- law Tim Bowers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Mitchel officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery with a military graveside service that will be conducted by the American Legion Post #43 of Decatur.
Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 16 at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.
