Colleen M. Gaskill, 77 years old of Monroeville, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in her residence located in Monroeville.

She was born on April 29, 1939 in Monreville, IN she was the daughter of the late William "Bid" Jump and the late Agnes (Mittermeyer) Jump. Colleen was married to Russell Gaskill on April 12, 1958 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2010.

Colleen was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville.

Colleen was most recently employed at the Midwest Reclamation Center in New Haven. In addition to spending time with her family, Colleen enjoyed reading, playing cards, fishing, puzzles, and sports - especially women's college basketball.

Surviving are her son, Danny (Veronica) Gaskill of Marysville, OH; son, Rodney Gaskill of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Becky (Jerold) Martin of Ft. Wayne, IN; 6 Grandchildren Jacob (Tammy) Gaskill, Lucas Gaskill, Justin Gaskill, Holly Gaskill, Lyndsy (Adam) Griebel, and Andrea (Ben) Hart; 3 Great -Grandchildren Jaxon Gaskill, Adalynn Griebel, and Timothy Griebel.

Preceding Colleen in death was her sister Carol Case.

A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday September 1, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville. Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday August 31, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel. A Rosary Service will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to St. Rose Catholic School, Masses, or Parkview Hospice.
