Timothy Allen Heckert, 62 years old of Keystone, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born on January 15, 1954 in Convoy, Ohio the son of the late James Heckert and the late Lillian (Lintemoot) Heckert.
Tim had formerly been employed by Snyder Tire in Bluffton.
Survivors include his companion, Linda Hunt of Keystone, IN; daughter, Dawn Marie Heckert of Bluffton, IN; Angel Harris of Bluffton, IN; son, Christopher "Brian" Harris of Decatur, IN; daughter, Samantha Miller of Keystone, IN; son, Josh Miller of Keystone, IN; son, Aspen Nunley of Keystone, IN; daughter, Allie Nunley of Bluffton, IN; brother, Gary (Donna) Heckert of Decatur, IN; brother, Don (Linda) Chaffee of Three Rivers, MI; brother, David Heckert of Bluffton, IN; sister, Karen Secaur of Decatur, IN; sister, Tammy (Roger) Lough of Decatur, IN; brother, Steve Heckert of Decatur, IN; and sister, Faye (David) Krick of Hoagland, IN. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Cloyd C.W. Crow Jr.; Carvel W. Crow; and Stetson W. Crow; 16 step-grandchildren, Braxton Ray Nunley; Kingston W. Nunley; Michael Harris; Dakota Harris; Ebony Bowling; Dominic Bowling; Elizabeth McCormick; Jackson Harris; Charlie Harris; Katrina Harrick; Julius Harrick; Tia Harrick; Madison Miller; Rosalyn Miller; Lea Miller; & RaiEigh Nunley; and a great-grandchild, Carter John Crow.
Preceding Timothy in death were his sister, Jane Baumgartner and two brothers, Grover Heckert and Robert Heckert.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Rev. James Compton officiating.
Friends will be received from 5-7p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service .
