Benjamin M. "Ben" Kline, 29 years old of New Haven, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Wednesday, December 3, 1986 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of Thomas A. Kline and Janell M. (Meyers) Kline.
Ben was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon in New Haven where he was a server until his freshman year. He attended Heritage High School until November of 2003 where he was an honor student and member of the Heritage High School football and basketball teams. He then attended New Haven High School Special Education Program. Ben enjoyed anything football and loved watching the Colts and Notre Dame.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas & Janell Kline of New Haven; sister, Rachel M. Kline of New Haven; brother, Ross A. Kline of Fort Wayne; sister, Brenda R. Kline at home; paternal grandparents, Maurice & Mary Kline of New Haven; maternal grandmother, Marguerite Meyers of Fort Wayne and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ben was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Meyers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon with Fr. Ben Muhlenkamp & Fr. Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Besancon.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 15 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville. A Rosary will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are masses or Easter Seals Arc of Northeast Indiana.
