Jeanne Irvin, 70 years old of New Haven, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Hickory Creek at Hicksville in Hicksville, Ohio.

She was born on Wednesday, October 2, 1946 in New Haven, Indiana the daughter of the late Elmer Francis Coonrod and the late Theresa Louise (Lopshire) Coonrod. She married Billy D. Irvin on April 30, 1966 in St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon.

Jeanne was a graduate of New Haven High School in 1965. She had worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne for seven years and retired in July 2012 from Raytheon after 30 years of service as an administrative assistant.

Jeanne was a devoted caregiver for her husband, Billy to whom she had been married for 50 years. In her earlier years, she loved to play golf and was very proud of her trophies. She loved to garden and spend time with family and her pets.

She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon and a member of Magnavox Quarter Century Club.

Surviving are her husband, Billy D. Irvin of Hicksville, OH and formerly of New Haven, IN; daughter, Sheri (Steven) Bowersox of Woodburn, IN; son, Gregory (Gretchen) Irvin of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Diane (Pete) Zehr of New Haven, IN; brother, Neil (Kathy) Coonrod of Monroeville, IN; sister, Carol (Bob) Dunfee of New Haven, IN; sister, Betty (Jim) Finan of Spencerville, IN; brother, Phillip (Maggie) Coonrod of Grant, CO; two grandchildren, Kiera Irvin & Brandt Irvin; and a step-grandchild, Erin Bowersox.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon with Fr. Ben Muhlenkamp officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Besancon.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 8 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville and one hour prior to the mass at the church on Friday . A Rosary will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are masses.
