Paul C. Neaderhiser

Paul C. Neaderhiser, 72 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Adams Woodcrest.

He was born on Saturday, June 24, 1944 in Astoria, Oregon the son of the late George E. Neaderhiser and the late Betty J. (Arnold) Neaderhiser. He married Barbara A. Salter on May 10, 1997 in Oatman, Arizona.

Paul was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur; Sons of the American Legion Post #43 in Decatur; and the Moose Lodge #1311 in Decatur. He enjoyed fishing and watching Indiana University basketball and the Indianapolis Colts.

He was a graduate of Huntington High School in 1962 and had worked for Bruco in Fort Wayne, Indiana in their shipping and receiving department. He retired from T I Automotive in Ossian, Indiana in 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Neaderhiser of Decatur, IN; step-daughter, Michael Ann Kuss of Walkerton, IN; step-son, Timothy J. (Virginia) Sands of Decatur, IN; sister, Marianna Nunemaker of Huntington, IN; and three step-grandchildren, Amber Jean; Lauren Marie; & Olivia Janet.

Preceding Paul in death was a step-daughter, Julie Pearson in July of 2000.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Pastor James Voorman officiating.

Friends will be received from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
