Emma I. Frank, 80 years old of Monroeville, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Adams Heritage in Monroeville.
She was born on January 3, 1937 in Monroeville, IN the daughter of the late Ellsworth "Barney" Ritchhart and the late Pauline (Parker) Ritchhart.
Emma was a member of the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene. She was also a 1956 graduate of Monroeville High School.
Emma enjoyed Komet Hockey, doll collecting, gardening, camping, motor cycle riding among other things, but she got the most enjoyment from fishing and Bingo!
Emma was the co-owner of the H&E Pallet Company in Middle Point, Ohio. She was also the owner of the Em's Dinner and Dairy Restaurant. Emma also worked at Arby's on State Avenue in Ft. Wayne as a Hostess.
Surviving are her daughter, Leeann (Doug Castle) Stemen of Monroeville, IN; brother, Marvin (Joann) Ritchhart of Monroeville, IN; step- grandson Adam (Ashley) Stephenson of Monroeville, IN; step-great-granddaughter, Sydney Ann Stephenson of Monroeville, IN. Emma is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with great- nieces and nephews and a great- great niece and nephew
Preceding Emma in death was a brother: Richard "Dick" Ritchhart.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Rev. Travis Barnett officiating.
Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home - Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Monroeville EMS or Family LifeCare Hospice.
