Lois J. Klinker

Lois J. Klinker , 91 years old of Monroeville, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Parkview Hospital-Randallia.

She was born on Friday, April 30, 1926 in Monroeville, Indiana the daughter of the late Frank Foster and the late Esther (Reynolds) Foster.

Lois was a life time member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville.

She graduated in 1944 from Monroeville High School. Following her graduation from high school, Lois worked as a secretary at International Harvester in Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Later, she became a seamstress for Hutner's Paris in Fort Wayne, followed by office work at Mutual Security Life Insurance Company, American United Life Insurance Company and Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company, all in Fort Wayne. Following her retirement in 1996 from Brotherhood Mutual, she worked in the kitchen part-time at the Village of Heritage Nursing Home, now known as Adams-Heritage in Monroeville.

Lois enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and working in her garden. She treasured times spent with her family and friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah (Bill) Eidson & Angela (Randy) Sommer both of Monroeville, Ind., four g randchildren, Erin Moffett; Miranda (Phil) Wrobel; Jared (Jessika) Sommer; and Kyle (Kaila) Sommer; three great-grandchildren, Cooper Wrobel, Emerson Wrobel, and Harlo Sommer; and three step-great-grandchildren, Morgan Powell; Brian Powell; and Rylan Powell.

Lois was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde Foster; John Foster; Donald "Dick" Foster; and Dale Foster.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Monroeville with Rev. David Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, June 18 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church.

Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Monroeville.
