Eileen May Miller

Eileen May Miller , 84 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Adams Woodcrest.

She was born on Thursday, April 6, 1933 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late William Bultemeyer and the late Milda (Scheumann) Bultemeyer. She married Paul Dewitt Miller on January 9, 1954 at St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen.

Eileen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur and served on the Altar Guild & Decorating Committee for many years.

She was a homemaker & had previously worked at Holthouse on the Highway & Back 40 Junction. She liked to crochet & enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Miller of Decatur; son, Jeffrey Miller of Decatur; two daughters, Rhonda Miller & Sandra (Norman) Miller both of Decatur; seven brothers, Roland (Barb) Bultemeyer of Gulf Shores, AL; Richard (Ruth) Bultemeyer of Fort Wayne; Edward (Bonnie) Bultemeyer, James (Cheryl) Bultemeyer, Fritz (LouAnn) Bultemeyer, Stan Bultemeyer, & Jerry Bultemeyer all of Decatur; three sisters, Marlene Duffey of Hoagland; Rosie (Waldo) Bultemeier of Decatur; & Connie Hawkins of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Lindsey (Jason) Cary of Greenfield; Amanda (John) Benshoof of Pittsboro; & Sara (Anthony) Hammond of Decatur; & four great-grandchildren, Grayson & Hudson Cary; Marah Benshoof; & Alden Hammond.

Preceding Eileen in death were a sister, Kay Stoppenhagen & a brother, Steven Bultemeyer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur with Pastor James Voorman officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 & 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 22 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.

Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church or Family LifeCare in Berne.
