Jack D. Raudenbush , 83, of Berne, Indiana passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on Friday, January 19, 1934 in Adams County, Indiana the son of the late Don N. Raudenbush and the late Ina E. (Alspaugh) Raudenbush. He married Myrna Foor in 1953 and she preceded him in death on February 15, 1995. On April 27, 1996, he married Mary K. (Perry) Affolder.
Jack retired from International Harvester in 1985 and he was a salesman at Courtesy Motors in Decatur. He was also a lifelong Blue Creek Township farmer.
He was a member of the F & A M Lodge in Decatur and a former member of the Shriner's in Fort Wayne. He attended West Missionary Church in Berne.
Survivors include his wife, Mary K. Raudenbush of Berne, IN; daughter, Angela Raudenbush Johnson of Monroe, IN; son, Kelly Raudenbush of Decatur, IN; step-daughter, Angie Sprunger of Bryant, IN; step-daughter, Tonnia (Perry) Lepley of Berne, IN; sister, Rose Rush of Geneva, IN; sister, Nancy (Stan) Lehman of Berne, IN; brother, Don K. (Barbara) Raudenbush of Jupiter, FL; sister-in-law, Arlene Raudenbush of Shawnee-Mission, KS; four grandchildren, Jason (Karen) Raudenbush; Ryne (Emily) Johnson; Erika (Shane) McBride; & Morgan Raudenbush-Dietrich; four step-grandchildren, Daniel (Heidi) Sprunger; Denise (James) Sprunger; Breonna Lepley; & Brittany Lepley; and eight great-grandchildren, Dylan McBride; Nolan Raudenbush; Adrienne Johnson; Dakota Sprunger; Brock Sprunger; Brendon Sprunger; Colton Sprunger; & Alena Sprunger.
Jack was preceded in death by two sons, Merle Lynn Raudenbush in 1957 & Kevin Lee Raudenbush in 1981; a step son-in-law, Van Sprunger; and a brother, Rex Raudenbush.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at West Missionary Church in Berne with Pastor Keith Rupp & Pastor Bill Lepley officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery in Willshire, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 18 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Preferred memorials are to West Missionary Church or Family LifeCare in Berne.
