Marjorie L. "Margie" Tingen-Price

Marjorie L. “Margie” Tingen - Price , 78, of Hoagland, IN passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her daughter’s residence following a brief illness.

She was born on Wednesday, July 5, 1939 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Oscar Bultemeier and the late Laura (Scheumann) Bultemeier. She was united in marriage to Willie Gray “Bill” Tingen on May 4, 1998 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2005. She then married Larry Price on June 16, 2013 and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2015.

Marge was a registered nurse working at Lutheran Life Villages and also for Dr. Dean Dauscher and Dr. Dale Aeschliman.

She was a life-long member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen where she served in many capacities to help her church and its members.

Marge enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, fishing, quilting and sewing (including many bridesmaid dresses and baby blankets), dancing, spending time at the lake with her family and friends, cooking (making noodles), playing cards (and winning!), singing, and volunteering.

Survivors include three daughters, Penny (Benjamin) Boyle of New Bremen, OH; Pam (Kevin) Selking of Hoagland; & Peggy (David) Herb of Huntertown; two sons, Dr. Troy (Jill) Hockemeyer & Tyrone Hockemeyer both of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Carla (Terry Pepple) Hockemeyer of Hoagland; brother, Verlin (Ludella) Bultemeier of New Haven; & six sisters, Bernice Ostermeyer; Regina "Jenny" (Herman) Guenin; & Marilyn Hoffman all of Fort Wayne; Darlene (Dick) Stoppenhagen of Monroeville; Alice (Don) Selking of Mesquite, NV; & Lorine "Rene" (Gary) Hazelett of Naples, FL. She was also survived by 30 grandchildren: Rachel (Zach) Faulkner, Aubrey (Joshua) Studebaker, Stephanie (Trenton) Fledderjohann, Morgan Boyle, Ethan Boyle, Rebekah (Levi) Orlick, Natalie (Brian) Bambauer, Cassandra Boyle, Daniel Boyle, Mariah Boyle, Landin Boyle, Journey Boyle, Shaylee Boyle, Casey (Eric) Sitko, Jamie (Brad) Kirkman, Julie (Kyle) Sorg, TJ Hockemeyer, Kyle (Tina) Selking, Lance (Kalie) Selking, Stuart Selking, Clayton Selking, Heath Selking, Claire Selking, Tabetha (Adam) Westrick, Alicia Herb, Blake Herb, Jake Hockemeyer, Cal Hockemeyer, Brooke Hockemeyer, and Mallory Hockemeyer; and 20 great-grandchildren: Elijah, Lincoln, and Halle Faulkner; Josephine Studebaker; Harper, Honor, and Marjorie Fledderjohann; Ezra, Remy, and Darcy Orlick; Hayden Sitko; Rylan Spieth; Colton Sitko; Ashlynn and Keegan Kirkman; Stormie and Ivy Selking; Karter Edholm; Emmett and Isaac Westrick.

Marge was preceded in death by a son, Todd Hockemeyer; a brother and sister-in law, Erwin & Lorna Bultemeier; a step-brother, Norbert Bultemeier; step-sister Hildegard Kiefer; & twin grandsons, Blaine and Bradley Selking.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen with Pastor Peter Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Bingen.

Friends will be received from 12 noon to 4 p.m. & 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, September 23 at St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen Parish Hall and one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday.

Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen 175th Tanzania Fund or Worship for Shut-Ins.
