Tony Lynn Frecker , 32, of New Haven, Indiana passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 following a single vehicle accident in Allen County.
He was born on July 15, 1985 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Thomas Allen & Diana Lynn (Smith) Frecker.
Tony was a graduate of Heritage High School and also Ivy Tech College in Fort Wayne. He was employed by Morris Sheet Metal Corp. in Fort Wayne for three years and had previously worked at Dirig Sheet Metal where he received his apprenticeship & Fort Wayne Transmission. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers International.
He loved snowmobiling, riding ATV’s, boating, hunting & camping. Tony was a “gear head” and loved working on cars. He made friends everywhere he went. Tony loved kids and animals & they loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas & Diana Frecker of New Haven; two brothers, Troy Frecker of Payne, OH & Travis Frecker of New Haven; maternal grandmother, Delores Smith of Payne, OH; & paternal grandparents, Eugene & Rita Frecker of New Haven.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leonard Smith and his uncle, Tim Alles.
A prayer service will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon. Fr. Ben Muhlenkamp will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Besancon.
Family & friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville and 30 minutes prior to the prayer service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the family with checks made payable to Thomas Frecker.
