Lloyd G. Perry , Sr., 76, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of the late William Lloyd Perry and the late Emma (Fields) Perry.
He was an honorably discharged member of the United States Air Force, serving in the 1950’s.
Lloyd was a farmer and also raised hogs. He was a construction worker & member of the Operating Engineer Local 103 in Fort Wayne. He had worked on many major projects in the Fort Wayne area, including all phases of the I-469 bypass.
Survivors include three sons, Lloyd G. Perry, Jr. & Rod (Debra) Perry both of Columbia City, IN & Bruce Perry of Fort Wayne, IN; two daughters, Misty (Todd) Gehres of Decatur, IN & Stacey (Tom) Batesole of Columbus, OH, five sisters, Audrey Mae, Betty, Gloria, Barbara & Rosie; & a brother, Bill Perry. He is also survived by his grandchildren including, Trent Perry, Andrew Perry, Brandon Perry, Elliot Gehres, and Oliver Gehres & his great grandchildren including, Kaiyah Perry.
Lloyd was preceded in death by five sisters, Rosella (in infancy), Ada Gay, Helen, Lela, and JoAnn.
There will be no visitation or services for Lloyd.
