Christina Dellinger

Christina R. Dellinger , 54, of Willshire, Ohio passed away Sunday evening, April 29, 2018. She was fatally injured following an automobile accident on State Route 81 in Willshire.

Chris was born on January 27, 1964 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Arthur Werst & the late Rebecca (Hirschy) Werst. She married Tim Dellinger on October 5, 1984.

She was a member of the Cross Community Church in Berne, Indiana and the American Legion Post #207 Auxiliary in Willshire.

Chris was employed by CenturyLink in Decatur for over 35 years & was also employed at Walmart in Van Wert, Ohio.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Dellinger of Willshire; two sons, Joseph (Abby) Dellinger of Wapakoneta, OH & Samuel Dellinger of Berne; daughter, Elizabeth Dellinger of Willshire; sister, Ladonna (Ron) Habegger of Berne; four brothers,Gregory (Madonna) Werst of Bella Vista, AR, Mark (Pamela) Werst of Berne, Kent (Rebecca) Werst of Geneva, & Matthew (Glenda) Werst of Elkhart; & two grandchildren, Anastasia Christine Garza and Avery Ann Dellinger.

Chris was preceded in death by a son, Andrew E. Dellinger on April 12, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Life Celebrant Molly Farthing officiating.

Family & friends will be received from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. & 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.

In lieu of flowers, Chris’ family would like preferred memorials be given to American Red Cross; Willshire Park Fund; or American Legion Post #207 – Willshire (checks can be made payable to the organization and sent to the funeral home)
