Barbara P. “Pearl” Hunnicutt , 77, of Willshire, OH passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born on Thursday, July 18, 1940 in Van Wert, Ohio the daughter of the late Morse Huffman and the late L. Maxine (Stetler) Huffman. She married the late Jesse H. Hunnicutt on December 21, 1963 in Bluffton, Indiana.
Barbara Pearl retired from General Electric in Decatur with 27 ½ years of service. She had also worked at T.J.'s Grocerette in Willshire, Ohio, Wren Tavern, & Ziggy's Tavern in Convoy, Ohio.
She attended the former Willshire United Brethren in Christ Church and was a member of the American Legion Post #207 Auxiliary in Willshire and the Moose Lodge #1311 in Decatur.
She was outgoing and was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed fishing and NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Survivors include her son, Timothy J. (Rebecca) Hunnicutt of Rockford, OH; five grandchildren: Brandy (Kevin) McDonald, Rachael (Daniel) Girard, Natasha Hunnicutt, Joseph (Elisabeth) Hunnicutt, & Tessa (Cody) Vogel; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Huffman in infancy and two brothers, Bill & Roger Huffman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday May 11, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Pastor Jeff Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery in Willshire, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 10 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.
