Teresa L. Enea , 48, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Thursday evening, September 20, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born on January 12, 1970 in Flemington, New Jersey to Charles Enea & Mary Ann (Logan) Helmke.Teresa was a member of Amvets Post #33 & the V.F.W. Post #1421 in Waynedale and the American Legion Post #160 Auxiliary in Roanoke.
She was a long-term professor/instructor at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne teaching computer applications. She received her Master’s Degree in Business Management and Business Marketing at Indiana University (IPFW). Teresa was also a bartender extraordinaire and volunteered at the NCO club at the 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne for the past 16 years.
Teresa loved motorcycles and riding. She was a member of the Amvet Riders and enjoyed all aspects of her service with that organization.
She is survived by her father, Charles Enea of Fort Wayne; mother, Mary Ann Helmke of Fort Wayne; brother, Jim (Cherri) Enea of Indianapolis; sister, Jessica (Rich Cueller) Helmke of Portland, OR; special friend, Robert “Bob” Masters of Fort Wayne; four nieces; three great nephews; & many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence & Delores Harris.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville . Memorial services for Teresa will be held at a later date.
Preferred memorials are to Amvets Post #33 Special Needs Children’s Fund or Vincent Village.
