Deborah L. Lehman, 65, Berne, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, November 3, 2016 at her home. She was born to Leroy and Melba Robbins Rusher on May 7, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN. She married Kendall M. Lehman on October 11, 1980.
Deborah was a member of Hope Missionary Church, Bluffton where she was involved in church missions, and was a small group mentor. She was a South Adams elementary teacher for 8 years and later was on the staff at Global Disciples in Berne. Her interests included: music, participating in a praise ensemble, scrapbooking, faithful in reading her Bible, and loving her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Kendall, 3 sons, Joshua(Jill Aupperle) Lehman of Roach, Mo., Andrew Lehman of Decatur, Benjamin Lehman of Ft. Wayne, 3 grandchildren, and a sister, Rebecca(Ron)Reynolds of Grand Rapids, Mi.
Preceding in death are her parents.
Funeral services are Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hope Missionary Church, Bluffton with visitation 1`hour prior to the service. Visitation also Tuesday, November 8 from 2 to 8 pm at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne. Officiating is Pastor Gary Aupperle. Burial is in the Springhill Church Cemetery east of Berne with graveside services at 2:00 pm.
Preferred memorials are to Global Disciples &/or New Tribes Missions, Sanford, Fla.
