Marjorie R. Brewster, 82, Berne passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Swiss Village where she was a resident. She was born to Faye and Minerva Gustin Oswalt on August 26, 1933 in Wells County, IN. She married Bert Brewster on October 31, 1954.
Marjorie was a member of the West Missionary Church. She was a former employee of Bluffton Franklin Electric for 35 years and enjoyed traveling, bird watching, and crafts.
Survivors include; daughter, Sandra(Tracy)Lorton of Linn Grove, step-children; Martha(Terry)Hammons of Bluffton, Carol(Harry)Dubach of Berne, Sharon Kaehr of Decatur, sons; Don(Valerie)Brewster of Decatur, Ron(Ann)Brewster of Keystone, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding in death are her parents, husband, son, Randall Brewster, brothers; Gus and Charles Oswalt, sisters; Joan McFarren, Vera Alfeld, Ruthann Nussbaumer, grand sons, Phillip and Brian Kaehr, John Dubach, great grand daughters, Tabitha Kaehr, Alexandria Pharr, and great-great grandson, Shaun Hammond.
Funeral service is Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:30 am at the West Missionary Church, rural Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Visitation also Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Josh Maller. Burial is in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to West Missionary Church &/or The Hope Center.
