Carey L. "Tater" Moser, 52, Berne passed away on July 17, 2016 at the I.U. Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN after a battle with leukemia. He was born to Roger and Sue Liechty Moser on May 3, 1964 in Adams County. He married Rhonda Tague on May 22, 1999.
Carey was most recently employed as a car salesman for Moser Motors in Portland, IN. Earlier he was employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Gas City and All-American Homes in Decatur. He enjoyed sports and rooted for the Minnesota Vikings and the I.U. Hoosiers. "Tater" also enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Sue, wife, Rhonda, son, Ryan Moser of Decatur, brother, Randy(Mindy)Moser of Tampa, Fla., nephews; Nicholas and Jeremy Moser, step-mother, Veda Moser of Springdale, Ark., step sisters; Michelle(Lee)Chalmers of Fayetteville,, Ark., and Miranda Viney of Farmington, Ark.
Preceding in death are his father, Roger Moser and step-father, Bert Carlson.
Funeral services are Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Cross Community Church, Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Visitation also Friday, July 22 at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home from 2 to 8 pm. Officiating are Pastors Jerry A. Flueckiger and Chris Kruchkow. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery.
