Wayne F. Dubach, 89, rural Geneva, passed away Tuesday morning February 23, 2016 at Swiss Village where he was a resident. He was born on February 27, 1926 in Adams County to Elmer and Orilla Blocker Dubach. He married Annabelle Balsiger on March 16, 1947.
Wayne graduated from Hartford Center School in 1944 where he later drove school bus, served as a custodian and was a Hartford Township Trustee. He was a member of the Old Salem Church. He was a lifetime farmer and retired from Corning Glass, Bluffton with 25 years of service in the security division. He was a member of the Gospel Crusaders Quartet and hosted many gospel sings at the Old Salem Church.He also was a member of the Edelweis Singers as a featured Yodelor. Wayne and Annnabelle enjoyed traveling and rooting for the I U Hoosiers.
Survivors include; sons, Rick(Karen)Dubach of Geneva, Greg(Pam)Dubach of Geneva, sister Sue(Tom)Moser of Bluffton, brother Larry "Chub"(Lana)Dubach of Geneva, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death are his parents, wife(2014), and brother Jerry Dubach.
Funeral Services are Friday, Feburary 26, 2016 at 10:30 am at Swiss Village Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Thursday from 5 to 9 pm. Officiating is Pastor Clark Stoller. Burial is in the Old Salem Church Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Living Waters United Church.
