The family of Imogene G. Cotner celebrates her Homegoing. She passed into her Lord's presence on January 16, 2016 at 7 AM in Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur after a short illness. . She married Herschel Cotner on October 4, 1947. She had lived 1001/2 years from June 27, 1915 to January 16, 2016. She was a resident of Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne, IN.

She was born to John H. and Gertrude Thrun Kurth in Blissfield, MI. Imogene lived most of her life in Toledo, OH being a member of the First Alliance Church where she was an active member and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a lab technician with Cardiology Consultants in Toledo. In 2002 she and her husband moved to Swiss Village where she enjoyed 13 years. During her time in Berne she attended the West Missionary Church.

Survivors include; a son, David(Nadine)Cotner of Brooklyn Park, MN., sister, Nancy(Edward)Kuck of Port Clinton, OH., 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Herschel, & sister, Lynwood Moser.

Funeral services are 10:00AM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the Swiss Village Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Officiating is Pastor Keith Rupp. Burial is in the Ottawa Hills Memorial Cemetery, Toledo, OH.

She was a kind and loving person to everyone and a dedicated servant of the Lord both in the First Alliance Church in Toledo and West Missionary Church in Berne. She will be geatly missed.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
