Glendola K. Yahn, 74, passed away on December 22, 2015 at
Swiss Village where she was a resident. She was born to Harley and Myrna Smith Yahn on December 25, 1940 in Mercer, OH.
She was a faithful member of the Bethel Brethren Church in Berne where she taught Sunday School and was a part-time receptionist. She graduated from Rockford High School in Ohio and later was a licensed beautician. Glendola also was employed at Teleflex Co. in Van Wert and CTS Corp in Berne. For a number of years she drove the Adams County Senior Citizen bus. Interests include; oil painting, her cat companions, & loving her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a sister, Sherry Quaintance of Mendon, OH., brother-in-law John Valentine of Portland, nieces and nephews, Felicia and Christine Quaintance, John Quaintance, Madison and Juleana Valetine, Carrie Welling, and 3 great nephews and nieces.
Preceding in death are her parents and sister, Nancy Valentine.
Funeral services are Monday, December 28 a 10:30 AM at Bethel Brethren Church, Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Sunday from 3 to 7 pm at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Joe Naas. Burial is in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
