Dorothy M. Coyne-Eckrote, 80, Berne, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:22 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2015. She was at home surrounded by loved ones as she entered eternal home. She was born on March 3, 1935 to David and Lelah(Chapman)Salway, the 10th child of 14.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Harry Eckrote, 4 daighters; Karen Kaehr, Kris(Lyle)Haines, Kathy(Henry)Pearson, and Beth(Kirk)Lehman, 9 grandchildren, Dustin(Amber) and Travis(Amy)Kaehr, Josh(Michaela), Corey(Sarah) and Kylie Cisney, Hunter, Audrey, and Isaac Pearson, and RachelAnn Lehman. Also survived by two sisters; Lila Garner and Louise Brock, and 5 brothers; Johnny, Walt, Noel, Jim, and Bud Salway. Survived also by step-children; Dixie(Lee)Hook, Mike(Mary)Eckrote, Rosann(Randy)Miller, step-grandchildren, Michelle, Erica, Nickolas, Matthew, Melissa, and Manda.. Also survived by numerous loving nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Lelah Salway, sisters; Mary and Lola and brothers; Howard, Donald, Harold, Whitney, and son-in-law, Scott Kaehr.

Dorothy was a giving, loving and gracious wife, mother and sister. She supported all of her loved ones with devoted prayer and acts of giving. Dorothy was heavily involved in community affairs. She owned three businesses including H&R Block, Colonial Designs, and The Gathering House. She loved gardening, and antiques but most of all she loved her Lord and family.

Funeral services Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM the Cross
Community Church, Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Sunday from 1 to 8 PM at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Chris McPherson. Private graveside burial later.
