Ruth J. Steury, 89, Berne, passed away July 11, 2015 in Fort Wayne, IN. She was the daughter of Christian and Edna Sprunger Muselman born on September 7, 1925 in Adams County. She married Clinton Steury on June 1, 1945.
Ruth was a member of the First Missionary Church of Fort Wayne. She was a former employee of Economy Printing, Berne and the Missionary Church Denominational office, Fort Wayne. Her interests include; reading, sewing, solving puzzles and cooking.
Survivors include; son Wes(Cindy)
Steury of Fort Wayne, daughters; Rhonda(Barry)Culberston of Fort Wayne, Ann(Allen)Tomlinson of Merrimack, N.H., daughters-in-law; Linda Steury of Berne, Nedra Steury McCord of Fort Wayne, 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death is her husband, Clinton, sons, Dr. C. David Steury, Steven Steury, brothers, Arthur and Carl Muselman, sisters, Pauline Muselman and Carolyn Russett.
Funeral services are Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at the First Missionary Church, Fort Wayne with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also at Swiss Village Chapel, Berne from 3 to 8 pm. on Wednesday, July 15. Officiating is Pastor Robert Martin. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery, Berne with graveside services at 2:30 pm.
Preferred memorials are to the First Missionary Church Building Fund &/or Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
