Elizabeth Angalene(Angie) Amstutz, 95, Berne passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Swiss Village where she was a resident. She was born to Paul and Frieda Zurcher Habegger on March 20, 1919 in Adams County. She married Ray Sharp on February 11, 1940 and he passed away on April 22, 1950. She later married Ernie Amstutz August 15, 1951 and he passed away on October 10, 1982.
She was a member of the First Missionary Church, Berne and a homemaker. Her family was her main interest. For hobbies she knotted comforters and crocheted gifts for family members as long as she was able to do so.
Survivors include; sons, Anthony Sharp of Willshire,OH., Donald(Nancy)Sharp of Berne and daughter, Deborah(Norman)Amstutz of Berne, 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandschildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Preceding in death are husbands Ray Sharp, Ernest Amstutz, sister, Rosemary(Albert)Amstutz, and daughter-in-law, Karen(Anthony)Sharp.
Funeral services on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Missionary Church in Berne with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation also Sunday, December 28 from 2-8 p.m. at Swiss Village Chapel. Officiating are Pastor James Schwartz and Pastor Max Haines. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery.
