Marjorie J. DeArmond, 93, Berne went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Swiss Village where she was a resident. She was born to Clemet and Mahala Gottschalk on March 25, 1921 in Adams County. She was married to James DeArmond on August 2, 1947.
She was a member of the First Missionary Church, Berne and retired from General Electric of Fort Wayne with 39 years of service. Her hobbies involved gardening and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters; Vivian Sprunger, Phyllis Conrad and a brother, Truman Gottschalk. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Friday, December 19, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Swiss Village Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the village. Officiating is Pastor Max Haines. Burial is at the MRE Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the Swiss Village Endowment Fund &/or to missionaries to Brazil, Mickey and Cherie(great-niece)Counter at World Team.
