Thaddeus Neunam DeWolf, 95, Berne, IN. passed away on September 15, 2014 at Swiss Village after a brief illness. He was born to Leslie C. DeWolf and Irene (Neunam) DeWolf on May 27, 1919 in Chicago, IL. He married Elnere L. Keeler on August 14, 1954 in West Dundee, IL.

He graduated from Northwestern University and earned a masters degree from Chicago Techincal Institute. Prior to moving to Berne with his family in 1969, he taught mechanical engineering at Tri-State College in Angola, IN. Locally, Thaddeus worked at Excello Corporation, Nussbaum Novelty, and Economy Printing in Berne, IN. His interests included: gardening, traveling, and bicycling.

Survivors include: son, Phillip P. (Mary Jo)DeWolf of Mt. Carmel, IL., daughter: Marcia(James)Bosek of Essex Junction, VT., grandchildren: Marie(Christopher)Hettinger of Frankfort, KY., Phillip L.(Holly)DeWolf
of Stuttgart, Germany, and Jacquelyn(Michael)Aubrey Mt. Carmel, IL.: great grandchildren: Phillip Jameson DeWolf, Clayton Paul Hettinger, and Cheyenne Helena Aubrey: and sister-in-law: Elsie DeWolf of Lee's Summit, MO.

Preceding in death are his wife: Elnere and brother: Leland DeWolf.

Funeral services Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Cross Community Church with visitation one hour prior to services. Visitation also Thursday, September 18 from 6 to 8 PM at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Craig Yoder. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery, Berne.
