Bobby (Bob) Lee Wurster, 81, Berne, passed away August 28, 2014 in Fort Wayne. He was born to Russel M. Wurster and Aretha L.M. Rhoades Wurster on October 6, 1932 in Mercer Co., Ohio. He married Madelyn S. Clauser on May 12, 1957, who survives.

He was a member of the First Missionary Church-Berne. He was active in the church and served on the board and in other areas. Bob was a charter member of Swiss Heritage Society and spent many hours volunteering there. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his families' events. He was a member of the Berne American Legion Post #468. Bob graduated from Neptune High School, Neptune, Ohio. He had several jobs and served his country in Germany during the Korean War. He worked for the Citizens Commercial Bank in Celina, Ohio. He then was office manager at Zurcher Tire in Monroe, IN. until he retired in 1993. Bob was a founder/owner of Bernhaus Furniture of Berne, IN.

Survivors include his wife, Madelyn, sons; Curtis (Jeannine) Wurster of Berne, Bradley (Toni) Wurster of Berne, daughter, Pamela (Brad) Hart of Orient, OH. sister, Dorthy Rutter, Lady Lake, Fla. and 9 grandchildren; Jeremiah (Erica) of Columbus, OH., David (Nikki) Hart of Keswick, Va., Aaron (Jessica) Hart of Orient, OH.,
Danielle Hart of Orient, OH., Kirsten Wurster, Caleb Wurster, Zachary (Rachel) Wurster, Nicholas Wurster, Madelyn B. Wurster all of Berne, 7 great-grandchildren;
Ella, Asher, and Elijah Hart of Columbus, OH., Brady and Jordan Hart of Keswick, VA., L.J. and Sophia Hart of Orient, OH.

Preceding in death are his parents.

Funeral services are Monday, September 1, 2014 at 10:30 am at the
First Missionary Church with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Sunday from 3 to 8 pm at the church. Officiating is Pastor Don Williams, Pastor Max Haines and Pastor Dathan Foust.

Burial is in the MRE Cemetery with military rites by the Berne American Legion Post #468.

Memorials are to Swiss Heritage Society and/or First Missionary Church.
