Frances L. Schwartz

December 3, 1934 - January 25, 2014

Frances L. Schwartz, 79, Berne, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to Albert J. Coblentz and Frances Eicher on December 3, 1934 in Adams County. She married Joe H. Schwartz on April 4, 1955.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Missionary Church. A favorite pasttime was connecting on Facebook with her family and many friends. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and cherished her family and grand and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include: Joe A. (Janell) Schwartz of Berne, Pastor A. James (Mary Carol) Schwartz of Berne, Mary Ann (Jeff) Dynes of Berne, Myron (Annette) Schwartz of Berne, Herb (Sheila) Schwartz of Fort Wayne, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers, Albert Coblentz of Lafayette, Andy Coblentz of Lafayette, Jake Coblentz of Phoenix, AR., Bill Coblentz of Geneva, Menno Coblentz of Phoeniz, AR., Robert Coblentz of Starksville, Miss., Joe Coblentz of Geneva, Melvin Coblentz of Hayward, WI., and Amos Coblentz of Berne.

Preceding in death are her parents, husband, son, Michael Wayne Schwartz, brother, Ben Coblentz, sisters, Betty Yoder, and Catherine Schwartz.

Funeral services are Wednesday, January 29 at 10:30 am at the First Missionary Church, Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Visitation also Tuesday, January 28 from 2 to 8 pm at the church fellowship hall. Officiating are Pastors A. James Schwartz and Max Haines.

Burial is in the Westlawn Cemetery in Geneva, IN.
