Amos A. Eicher, Jr., 71, Bluffton, passed away October 8, 2013 at his home in Adams County. He was born to Amos and Elizabeth(Schwartz)Eicher on December 31, 1941. He married Lovina Girod who is deceased and later married Lizzie W. Schmucker who survives.
Amos was a member of the Old Order Amish and was a carpenter and pump repairman.
Survivors include: his wife, sons, Marvin A.(Margaret) Eicher,of Bluffton, William(Maryann)Schwartz of Geneva, daughters, Delila (Simon) Schwartz of Bluffton, Mary(Benny)Girod of Geneva, Lizzie(Reuben)Girod of Geneva, Fannie(Chris) Schwartz of Geneva . brothers; Leroy A., Harvey A., Ben A. Eicher, sisters; Salome Wengerd, Mary Christner, Rosie Wickey., 9 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death is his first wife, sisters; Delila and Emily, and granddaughter, Mary Ann.
Funeral services are Friday, October 11 at 9:00 am at his home, 4766 W, 300-1 S, Bluffton. Visitation also Wednesday from 1 to 8 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at the residence. Officiating is Bishop Eli A. Weaver.
Burial is in the Schwartz Cemetery, rural Berne.
