Marjorie E. Ulman, 87, Berne, passed away May 4, 2013 at Swiss Village. She was born to Chauncey and Lillian(Bohren)Yoder on November 4, 1925. She married Ralph R. Ulman on May 8, 1954.
She was a member of the Berne Evangelical Church and the Ladies Aide.
Marjorie was a former employee of Central Soya, Adams County Co-Op, Dunbar Furniture and later retired from Stucky Furniture of Monroe. She enjoyed working puzzles, watching birds and nurturing her flowers. She enjoyed sports and especially watching Nascar Racing and Jeff Gordon. She loved her family, was a friend to all, and her smile and laughter were contagious.
Survivors include; a daughter, Cynthia(Glen)Everett of Decatur, son, Kent D. Ulman of Schaumburg, Ill., sisters; Vera Mattax of Van Wert, OH., Darleen(Claren)Lehman of Berne, Alice Ehrman of Decatur, Janis(Leonard)Balsiger of Az., brother, Kenneth(Jeannette)Yoder of Berne, sister-in-law Marie Thornburg of Decatur, brother-in-law Milo Nussbaum of Ill., 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death are her parents, husband, brothers, James and Murl Yoder and sister, Violet Nussbaum.
Funeral services are Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Berne Evangelical Church with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne. Officiating are Pastor Kent Fahl, Pastor Michael Sprunger, and Pastor Milo Nussbaum.
Burial is in the Evangelical Mennonite Church Cemetery rural Berne.
Preferred memorials are to Family Life Care &/or Berne Evangelical Church.
