Maxine R. Lehman, 91, Berne passed away, Monday morning,
April 15, 2013 at Swiss Village. She was born to Gilbert and Minnie(Depp) Stucky on September 20, 1921 in Adams County. She was married to Roger "Pete" Augsburger who died in 1972 and Wilmer "Cy" Lehman who died in 2006.
Maxine was a beautician and was employed at the Berne License Branch and later retired from Bixler Insurance. Her greatest gifts were her prayers, love, joy, and encouragement to others. Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend blessed all she came in contact with by her great unconditional love and grace. She loved her church and participated in various functions.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie(James)Lehman of rural Geneva, step-daughter, Jean(Bob)Wolf of Sylvania, OH., a step-son, Tom(Bonnie)Lehman of South Bend, IN., a brother, Bill(Jean)Stucky of Goshen, IN., 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Preceeding in death are her parents, husbands, daughter, Pat Lengerich, son, Lynn Augsburger, brother, Loris Stucky, and step-son, James Lehman.
Funeral services are Thursday, April 18 at 10:30am at Swiss Village with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also on Wednesday from 2 to 8 pm at the Village. Officiating is Pastor Jerry A. Flueckiger.
Burial at the MRE Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the First Mennonite Church Missions and /or The House of Hope of Bluffton.
