Harry "Hotch" W. Luginbill, 86, Berne, passed away Tuesday October 2, 2012 at Swiss Village, Berne. He was born to Elmer and Hermina (Sprunger) Luginbill on October 12, 1925. Harry married Willodyne Neuenschwander on December 22, 1946.
He was a member of the West Missionary Church where he taught Sunday School for 20 years, was a deacon, member of the choir and a sponsor of the Youth Group. Harry retired from Dunbar Furniture as an upholsterer for 38 years. Harry was a Little League coach and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Survivors are his wife, Willodyne, daughters, Susan (Robert) Dubach of Geneva, Ronnette (William) Armstrong of Ft. Wayne, foster daughter, Jeannie Rupp of Anderson, sons, Ronald (Sarah) Luginbill of Peru, and Gregg (Abby) Luginbill of Markle. Also 12 grandchildren, 3 foster grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 foster great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death are brothers Roger and Stanley Luginbill and sisters, Bernice Stuckey and Rowena Bauman.
Funeral services are on Sunday, October 7 at 2:00 pm at the West Missionary Church with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation is also on Saturday, October 6 at Swiss Village Chapel from 4 to 8 pm. Officiating is Pastor Keith Rupp.
Burial is in the MRE Cemetery, Berne.
Preferred memorials are to the West Missionary Church Building Fund &/or Swiss Village Samaritan Fund.
