Herman E. Fosnaugh, 95, Berne. passed away Saturday, June 30 at Swiss Village. He was born to Clarence and Anise(Clowser) Fosnaugh on February 15, 1917. He married Lura(Johnston) Fosnaugh on April 16, 1938.
Herman was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church where he was an usher for many years. He was a former employee of United Milk Corp. and later Dunbar Furniture for 31 years. He owned Automatic Woodturning Co. in his retirement years. Hobbies included woodworking at Swiss Village.
Survivors include two sons, Corwin(Ann) Fosnaugh, Berne and Jerry(Pat) Fosnaugh, Ft.Wayne and a daughter, Donna(Robert) Bockover, Riverside, Calif., six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Also sisters, Glennis Fosnaugh, Bluffton, Bonnie Gibson, Yoder, and brothers Dale Fosnaugh of Decatur and Roger Fosnaugh of Bluffton.
Preceding Herman in death are his parents, wife, brothers Victor and Joe Fosnaugh.
Funeral services are Tuesday, July 3, 10:30am at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Visitation Monday from 3-8 pm at the Swiss Village Chapel. Officiating is Pastor Mark Harris.
Burial is at the MRE Cemetery, Berne.
Preferred memorials are Swiss Village Samaritan Fund, Trinity United Methodist Church &/or Family Life Care.
