Robert L. "Bob" Biberstein, 73, Berne, passed away Wednesday, March 21 at Adams Memorial Hospital. He was born to Alton & Esther(Sprunger) Biberstein on January 14, 1939. Robert married Rhina (Caballero) Biberstein on November 23, 1966, who survives.

Bob was owner of the Biberstein Law Firm and a practicing attorney for 48 years. He graduated from Hartford Center School, Taylor University and Indiana University. He was the city of Berne attorney for 16 years and a member of the Adams County Bar Association. Bob was a member of the First Missionary Church where he taught Sunday School for 25 years. Special interests include: gardening, music, reading(history), & caring for his flowers. Bob was an avid sports fan(Hoosiers-Cubs) and a collector of sports memorbilia.

Survivors include: his wife, daughters, Ingrid(Kenton) Bailey, Decatur, and Linney(Doug) Kinsey, Berne. Also 6 grandchildren, Westley, Spencer, Isabella & Gabriella Bailey, and Alexa & Ava Kinsey. Also are sisters, Elsie Rigdon, Fla., Nancy Neuenschwander, Arizona, amd Gaynelle "Beeb" Study, Spencerville, In. and brothers, Rev. David Biberstein, Columbia City, Ken Biberstein, Indianapolis.

Preceeding in death are his parents.

Funeral services are Sunday, March 25, at 2:00 pm at the First Missionary Church, Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also on Saturday at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home from 2 to 8 pm. Officiating are Rev. David Biberstein and Rev. Max Haines.

Burial is at the MRE Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the First Missionary Church.
