Norman K. Ellenberger, 64, rural Berne, passed away on December 22, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. He was born to Kenneth & Nola(Charleston) Ellenbeger on November 4, 1947 in Adams County. He married Edith (Burkholder) Ellenberger on January 28, 1967.

Norman worked for Franklin Electric and later Bluffton Motor Works for 46 years. Special interests include: fishing, hunting, gardening, attending flea markets, & looking for arrow heads.

Survivors include his mother, Nola, his wife, Edith, daughters, Tonya(fiance Ramey Cornet)Ellenberger, Decatur, Wanda
Sue (fiance Russell Keys) Alberson, Berne, & Melissa (Norman) Bergman, Geneva. Brothers, Merle Ellenberger, Berne, James Ellenberger, Decatur, & Mark Ellenberger, Linn Grove , & sister, Janice Flowers Bluffton. 6 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 step-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death are his father, Kenneth, brothers, Carey & Roger Dean.

Funeral services are Wednesday, December 28 at 10:30 am at the First Missionary Church, Berne with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM at the church. Officiating is Pastor Max Haines.

Burial at the Mt Hope Cemetery, rural Berne.
