The 2024 Stockings for Soldiers campaign is underway. For the 14th consecutive year, Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes will be working with several local organizations to bring the Holiday Spirit to military members in our community.



How can you help?

1. Contact or stop by any of the following groups to receive a stocking:

• Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes: Decatur, Berne, and Monroeville
• VFW Post 6751, Geneva
• American Legion Post 43, Decatur
• American Legion Post 468, Berne


2. Fill the stockings with any of the following items and staple closed:


For Soldiers:

• Hard candy, Jolly Ranchers, etc.
• Chewing Gum
• Mints
• Shampoo
• Eye Drops
• Flavored Water Packets
• Batteries- AA and AAA
• Deck of Playing Cards
• Crossword Puzzles
• Granola bars (without chocolate)
• Ping Pong Balls
• Corn Hold Bags
• Popcorn



NOTE: If stocking specifically for a female soldier, please designate


3. Return the filled stockings by December 2, 2024
